CBK congratulates the World Press Freedom Day

Acting Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Bashkim Nurboja, has congratulated all journalists on the World Press Freedom Day.

In his congratulation, Mr. Nurboja emphasized that media freedom and free speech are essential for a free and democratic society.

“CBK continues to maintain the tradition of close and correct cooperation with all media in Kosovo and abroad. “Cooperation with the media will continue to be one of the main points of our institution’s work and in the future, with the sole purpose of providing fair and correct information to the public,” the congratulation reads.

Acting Governor, Mr. Nurboja has emphasized that with their noble mission to convey only the truth, the media play a vital role in the advancement of peaceful, just and inclusive societies.
