The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr.Fehmi Mehmeti, received in the meeting  representatives of the Kosovo Manufacturing Club, chaired by the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Bashkim Osmani.

During the meeting, the Governor informed Chairman Osmani about a series of measures the CBK has taken during this period, in particular to postpone the payment of loan installments, in order to facilitate the needs of businesses for liquidity and to help them resume their activity.

The Governor also informed the participants about the CBK’s plans for further support in facilitating access to finance for businesses and the facilitation that will be undertaken to help businesses more easily cope with the financial burden during the process of their recovery and development.

Part of the discussion was the current situation in the financial sector, in particular the banking sector, which continues to be stable, with high liquidity and capital indicators.

On the other hand, the representatives of the Kosovo Manufacturing Club thanked the Governor for the measures taken by the CBK and expressed readiness that together with all actors, to contribute to faster economic recovery of Kosovo.
