Governor Ismaili reveals the expectations and requests from non-banking financial institutions

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili together with the Deputy Governor Dardan Fusha, hosted the leaders of non-banking financial institutions in a meeting, where they discussed the developments, challenges and perspective of market development, with a focus on due diligence, risks and aspects of supervision.

The meeting focused on the need to increase quality, digitalize payment services, increase the use of cards, reform and advance the payment system, as one of the CBK’s objectives.

The advancement of the legal and regulatory framework and the creation of the business model in order to offer innovative products at the service of citizens, with the aim of financial inclusion, competitiveness and efficiency.

The heads of the CBK conveyed the main messages and expectations of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo from non-banking financial institutions, related to the provision and digitization of payment services for the benefit of customers, in compliance with legislation, financial stability and the support of the economy, as objectives of CBK.
