The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, who also represents the Republic of Kosovo in the Board of Governors of the IMF, participated in the meeting of the IMF Constituency, where the Republic of Kosovo is a member along with Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Turkey.

The meeting discussed the progress of activity implementation, the budget, and personnel, and presented a summary of our consistency's activities. In this meeting, the cooperation and contribution of the current Executive Director, Mr. Daniel Palottai, while welcoming the new Executive Director, Mr. Yigit Yasar, who will take office beginning November 1, 2024.

The CBK expresses its gratitude for the cooperation and support of the leaders of the IMF, while re-confirming the readiness for open and efficient cooperation with the new leadership, ensuring the continuity of processes in an efficient manner within the participating states of our constituency.

The meeting was organized as part of the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) and World Bank's (WB) annual meetings in Washington, D.C.
