COMPETITION For essays from high school students on the topic: “The future of my finances”

The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, in the framework of financial education and in order to mark the Global Money Week, invites high school students from Kosovo to participate in the competition for the best essay in the field of finance and economics.

The theme of Global Money Week 2021 is: “Take care of yourself, take care of your money“.

Competition criteria

• The essay must contain 1000 to 1500 words;
• The essay must elaborate personal views on the importance of personal finance management, the role of saving in the economy, the importance of saving for the future, the role of saving in overcoming crisis challenges, young people’s attitude towards saving, family saving habits, classical forms versus modern forms of saving, young people’s knowledge of saving in financial institutions, young people’s attitude towards the needs for financial education and other aspects.
• The essay must be original, creative and not copied or translated;
• The essay must be in Albanian language.

In the subject, write: “For the Competition on the occasion of the Global Money Week”

Remember to indicate:

– Name and surname;

– Name of school (grade/year/municipality/village/city);
– Name and surname of the parent/guardian as well as residential address;
– Contact number of parent/guardian/teacher/professor.

The deadline for submission of works is from 22 March to 22 April.

The 3 best essays will be awarded as follows:

First prize – 200 Euros,

Second prize – 150 Euros,

Third prize – 100 Euros

The winning essays will become property of the CBK and will be used as educational material.
