International Summer Academy Students Visit to the CBK

Students of the International Summer Academy branches of Finance, Banking and Insurance, organized by UBT College, visited the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK), on July 12, 2016.
Students were welcomed by Mr. Bedri Hamza, Governor of the CBK and had the opportunity to be informed on the role and functions of the CBK and consulted on many issues of financial areas.
Students were briefed in detail by the Head of Asset Management Department Miss. Shkendije Nahi on asset management and trading of Kosovo’s securities they did also saw closely a demonstration on how an auction of securities trading is being done.

CBK supported this academy by attending on the occasion of its opening, where was represented by the Head for Insurance Supervision, Mr. Nexhat Miftari and Mr. Mentor Geci Head of Banking Supervision who held a lecture “Banking legislation framework – the role of a Regulator”.
During the visit in CBK, Academy participants were briefed in detail on the functions of the CBK, and the importance of each sector within the CBK.
Academy organizer Ms. Albulena Jaha, on behalf of UBT College thanked CBK for its support in organizing the Academy events, as well as for hosting the students on their visit to the CBK.
