A group of 30 young people, under the organization of the Group for the Balkans, made a study visit to the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo.
Ms. Shkëndije Nahi, Acting Deputy Governor for Financial Supervision, presented to the young people the role, functions and responsibilities of CBK as well as cooperation with local and international financial institutions.
Director of the Department for Banking Supervision, Mr. Mentor Geci and the Director of the Department of Insurance Supervision, Mrs. Ramize Ramadani, also presented the latest developments in the banking, insurance and pension sectors.
During the lecture, the CBK’s commitments to help the country’s economy were revealed, while the young people, with their questions, asked for more information about various topics, especially about financial supervision.
On behalf of the Group for the Balkans, Mrs. Shqipe Jashari Sekiraqa expressed their gratitude to the CBK for the opportunity and expressed her satisfaction with the information received during the study visit.
