An activity with the students of PLSS “Metush Krasniqi”, Rogane, Kamenica

As a part of activities to cover financial literacy in the various municipalities of Kosovo, on May 11, 2023, the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo organized an activity with the students of grades 6-9 of the PLSS “Metush Krasniqi” of the village of Rogane of Kamenica Municipality, with the aim of promoting financial literacy and raising students’ awareness of the importance of managing personal finances.

Through lectures and discussions, students were informed about various financial topics, including personal budget management, the importance of savings, the functioning of financial sector, and other issues relevant to their age that will help them raise their financial awareness and make appropriate financial decisions.

Students received the activity with enthusiasm, by showing a significant engagement to being informed on these topics. The principal and the teaching staff of the school expressed their gratitude to the Central Bank for this opportunity for financial awareness-raising of the students. On this occasion, students were provided individual packages with financial literacy materials, suitable for their age group.

Through its activities, the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo seeks to emphasize the importance of financial literacy and contribute to the preparation of a new generation that is informed and aware of financial issues so that in the future they are ready to manage their finances responsibly.
