Officials of the Department for Foreign Relations within the Financial Education Program, conducted a visit/held a lecture at the “Pandeli Sotiri” Primary School in Obiliq.
The lecture was held with fourth grade pupils, and discussions were made on various topics about the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, its main functions, money value, proper ways of managing money, what are banks and how they operate, savings, personal budget and other relevant topics in the field of education, appropriate to the level of the pupils with whom the class was held.
With pupils was also discussed about the education book for the fourth grade, prepared and distributed with the collection of financial education books for grades 1-5 of primary schools. Educational materials, prepared by the CBK, were also distributed.
The pupils were also curious to know more about different topics relating the CBK, where the Euro coins and banknotes come from in Kosovo, the operation of banks, savings and about the book collection.
