The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo has continued with the implementation of financial education activities, this time in the Primary School “Elena Gjika” in Prishtina.
Through the presentation held by the CBK officials and conversations developed, the students of this school had the opportunity to learn more about managing personal finances, prioritizing needs over desires, creating savings habits, building a personal budget and other topics from the field of economics.
Among other things, students had the opportunity to read and discuss the book “Pupu shkon në cirk”, part of the collection of financial education books for 1-5 grades of primary schools, prepared by the CBK.
The Principal of “Elena Gjika” School, Mr Betim Sylejmani, thanked the representatives of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo for the implementation of this educational activity in their school and said that such activities are more than welcome, because they affect the increase of knowledge and life skills, gaining enhanced knowledge about the functioning of the economy and finance in general.
