As part of the awareness campaign “Economy for All”, representatives of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), the Kosovo Disability Forum (KDF) and the Kosovo Banking Association (KBA) stopped in Gjakova today, where they met with a group of people with disabilities.

During the meeting, the function and mandate of the CBK were discussed, with particular emphasis on the protection of financial consumers, including vulnerable consumers, as well as banking products that contribute to increasing financial access and inclusion of citizens.

In the conversation (discussion) section, participants shared their experiences and discussed the daily challenges they face in dealing with financial institutions. Among other things, the issue of increased care for employees from the categories of persons with disabilities was addressed, emphasizing the need for financial institutions to provide more opportunities for these categories.
