The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, in cooperation with the Kosovo Disability Forum (KDF) and the Kosovo Banking Association, has held a one-day activity in Prizren with the motto “Economy for All”, an event that is being held throughout Kosovo as part of the Awareness Week for categories of persons with special abilities.

The participants of this workshop, held as part of a sensitization campaign aimed at increasing awareness of knowledge and rights in the financial field, during the conversation organized in the form of a lecture with questions and answers, discussed the function and mandate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), with particular emphasis on the protection of financial consumers, including vulnerable consumers, as well as banking products that contribute to increasing inclusive financial access for citizens.

The conversation part gave special value to this workshop, where participants shared their personal experiences, recounting their daily lives and the challenges they face in their relationships with financial institutions.

In the end, the participants, together with the interlocutors from the CBK and the Banking Association, agreed, among other things, that there should be a continuous addressing of issues with increased care by institutions towards this category of persons with disabilities, finding ways to provide as many opportunities as possible from financial institutions. The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, together with the Kosovo Banking Association and the Kosovo Disability Forum (KDA), continue to hold awareness-raising lectures in other cities of Kosovo.
