The Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti is attending the Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank

The Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti will participate in Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which are taking place in Washington DC from April 16-22, 2018.
Apart of participating in the IMF and the World Bank plenary session, Governor Mehmeti will take part in the IMF Central and Eastern Europe constituency meetings and the IMF and World Bank relevant constituency meetings. During his stay in Washington, Governor Mehmeti will also meet U.S. Treasury Department officials, homologues from banks of different countries and representatives of other international financial institutions.
The Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) bring together central bankers, ministers of finance and development, private sector executives, representatives from civil society organizations and academics to discuss issues of global concern, including the world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development, and effectiveness of the aid given by these institutions. Also featured are seminars, regional conferences and many other events focused on the global economy, international development, and the world's financial system. This year's Spring Meetings events will take place in Washington, DC, April 16-22, 2018.
The delegation of the Republic of Kosovo that will attend these meetings is headed by the Minister of Finance Mr. Bedri Hamza, accompanied by the Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti and the Chairman of the CBK Board, Mr. Flamur Mrasori.
