The Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Mr. Bedri Hamza will participate in Annual Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank

The Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Mr. Bedri Hamza will participate in regular Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which are taking place in Washington DC from 7-9 October, 2016.
Apart of participating in the IMF and the World Bank plenary sessions, Governor Hamza will take part in Central and Eastern Europe constituency meetings in the IMF and the IMF and World Bank relevant constituency meetings. During his stay in Washington, Governor Hamza will also meet U.S. Treasury Department officials, homologues from banks of different countries and representatives of other international financial institutions.
The Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) bring together central bankers, ministers of finance and development, private sector executives, representatives from civil society organizations and academics to discuss issues of global concern, including the world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development, and effectiveness of the aid given by these institutions. Also featured are seminars, round-tables and many other events focused on the global economy, international development, and the world's financial system.
