Seminar with Lending Institutions:

Progresses on Lending Information and Credit Registry of Kosovo


Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo by means of support of the USAID, PPMA project (Program for Improvement of Business Environment), organizes a three day seminar where would participate representatives of commercial banks and non-bank financial institutions operating in Kosovo.
The seminar will be announced by the Governor of CBK Mr. Gani Gërguri, while other local and international experts on this field and representatives from PPMA and USAID will be the key speakers of it. 
The aim of this seminar is the progress on Lending Information and Kosovo Credit Registry, so an action plan is expected as a result, in improving lending data quality. This is aimed to be achieved by identifying factors that influence data exchange, increasing awareness on borrower’s rights, increasing the efficiency of internal operations and agreeing on the implementation of this plan.

The seminar will be held on May 11-13, 2011, at 9:00, Hotel Emerald in the suburb of Pristine.
