The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti, hosted in a meeting the representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, represented by the Executive Director, Arian Zeka, Kujtim Gjevori and Ardian Hoxha.
Expressing his gratitude for the visit to the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Governor Mehmeti informed the representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo on the recent developments in the country's financial sector, in particular in the banking sector, which continues to perform well, underlining the increase of activities of this sector in support of the country's economic development and the high level of sustainability this sector enjoys.
Meanwhile, the representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo expressed the need for further increase of the support by the banking sector for the private sector and for facilitating access to finance, especially for sectors with development projects, which have a direct impact on the country's economic development.
