At the invitation of Governor of Central Bank of Austria, Governor Gerguri is taking part in the proceedings of International Conference entitled "European Integration in the Global Context" organized by the Central Bank of Austria and Central Bank of Finland.
The Conference was initially presented by Mr. Ewald Nowotny, Governor of the Central Bank of Austria, and Mr. Erkki Liikanen, Governor of Bank of Finland, than Mr. Andrew K. Rose, Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and Mr. Min Zhu, Deputy Managing Director of International Monetary Fund. Presenters from many international institutions like the European Central Bank, European Commission, IMF, central banks of the region and beyond as well as academia are analyzing growth patterns of three economic zones (Europe, China and Russia) by examining key aspects of dependency between them. After this conference, Governor Gerguri, later today will take part in the Belgian Constituency meeting on the IMF which will be held in Vienna.
