The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti, accompanied by the Deputy Governor for Financial Supervision, Mr. Sokol Havolli, received the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Mr. Samedin Mehmeti.

In this meeting was discussed about the excellent cooperation between the two institutions in order to combat and prevent negative phenomena.

On this occasion, Governor Mehmeti informed the General Director of the Kosovo Police about the latest developments in the financial sector and the measures that have been taken to maintain financial stability.

On the other hand, the General Director of the Kosovo Police thanked the Governor of the CBK for the cooperation so far, and at the same time expressed his readiness and support for the continuation of mutual cooperation.

Both institutions expressed their commitment to intensify inter-institutional work in order to reduce the number of unregistered and uninsured vehicles, as a criterion for further procedures on the green card issue.
