The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti, received in a meeting the representatives of the Retail Network, chaired by the Executive Director, Ms. Yllka Metaj.
During the meeting, the Governor informed the Director Metaj on measures that CBK has undertaken during the pandemic period, in order to facilitate business liquidity needs and to help them in their activities.
Also, the Governor informed the participants about the CBK plans for further support to facilitate access to finance for businesses and the facilities that will be undertaken, in case of further need to help businesses to cope more easily the financial burden during the process of recovery and their development.

Part of the discussion was also the current situation in the financial sector, especially the banking sector, which continues to be stable, with high liquidity and capital ratios.

On the other hand, the representatives of the Retail Network thanked Governor Mehmeti for the meeting and presented their requests to the CBK and the banking sector, in order to facilitate and support the activity of member businesses of this Network.
