The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti, received in a meeting the representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), chaired by the Director for Kosovo, Mr.Neil Taylor.

Governor Mehmeti thanked the EBRD representatives for the presentation of the Transition Report for 2021/2022, emphasizing the commitment and important contribution that the EBRD has continuously given to support the institutions of Kosovo and in general for the economic development of the country.

Governor Mehmeti informed the representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development about the macroeconomic and financial developments in Kosovo, emphasizing the high stability of the financial system and its role in supporting the country's economy.

Also, Governor Mehmeti thanked the representatives of this institution for the continuous support they have given and are giving to the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo for the implementation of a number of projects with the CBK, and expressed interest in increasing them.

While, the director of the EBRD for Kosovo, Mr. Neil Taylor has shown readiness to increase cooperation between the two institutions.
