The senior delegation of the Republic of Kosovo, led by the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti is attending regular annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which are being held in Washington, USA from 14 -20 October.  

On this occasion, Governor Mehmeti will meet with senior management of the IMF, World Bank, U.S. Treasury.

Also, during the regular annual meetings, Governor Mehmeti will also meet with the leaders of our constituency in the IMF, and as well will participate in discussions that will take place within these meetings.

Annual meetings organized by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund bring together central bankers, ministers of finance and development , parliamentarians, private sector leaders, representatives from civil society organizations and academics to discuss issues of global concern, including the global economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development and aid effectiveness.

During these meetings will be discussed for developments in the global economy and financial system in the world.
