The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr.Fehmi Mehmeti, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to our country, Mr. Çagri Sakar.

Governor Mehmeti informed the ambassador about the latest developments in the financial sector, the measures taken by the CBK since the beginning of the pandemic, which has affected this sector to remain stable and liquid, as well as readiness to help in any time the citizens and the economy of the country to overcome the situation with the pandemic in which our country is.

The Governor thanked the state of Turkey for the assistance provided to Kosovo and for the cooperation, and the projects implemented so far, while expressing the readiness and interest for the cooperation to advance further.

On the other hand, Ambassador Sakar praised the achievements of the financial system of Kosovo and expressed the commitment to further advance economic cooperation between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Kosovo.
