The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti, received in the meeting the Ambassador of Switzerland to our country, Mr.Thomas Kolly.

The Governor briefed the Ambassador on the latest developments in the financial sector and the CBK's further commitment to assist in the economic recovery and the maintenance of a stable and liquid financial sector.

Governor Mehmeti informed Ambassador Kolly that the CBK, since the outbreak of the pandemic, has been engaged and committed to further facilitating access to finance through its role as regulator and supervisor of the financial system.

Further, the Governor thanked the state of Switzerland for the support it has given to the state of Kosovo and the CBK in many projects, and expressed readiness to deepen this cooperation even more.

On the other hand, Ambassador Kolly thanked the Governor for the information provided, while expressing readiness on behalf of the Swiss state to continue the cooperation with the CBK.
