The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Fehmi Mehmeti, met with representatives of the Chamber of Hospitality and Tourism, and those of gastronomy chaired by the Director of CHHT, Mr. Hysen Sogojeva.

At this meeting the Governor informed the participants with the actions so far, and the plans of the CBK in order to further support to facilitate access to finance for businesses and other facilities that are planned to be undertaken, if necessary, so that businesses most affected by the measures taken against the pandemic, to more easily bear the financial burden during the process of their recovery and development.

On the other hand, the representatives of the hospitality and gastronomy sector thanked Governor Mehmeti for the meeting, and asked the banking sector to continue to facilitate and support this category, in order to overcome as easily as possible the difficult situation created from the pandemic.
