Governor Hamza welcomed in a meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania Mr. Qemal Minxhozi

The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Bedri Hamza, welcomed on an introductory meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in the Republic of Kosovo Mr. Qemal Minxhozi. At the beginning Governor Hamza thanked Mr. Minxhozi for his time dedicated to the visit at the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo. And by this occasion the Governor informed the Ambassador Minxhozi on the economic and financial situation of Kosovo, especially on the banking industry, insurance industry and on the challenges this system passed through.
Further on, the governor, based on the current development indicators, noted that these indicators point to a healthy and liquid system; there are continuously noticed positive developments in the entire sectors.
He further stressed the support that the government of Albania is giving to the economic development by its presence in the banking and insurance sector.
The governor also mentioned the excellent relations that CBK has with Albanian counterpart institutions like the Bank of Albania and other independent regulatory authorities of the country.
Meanwhile, the Ambassador Minxhozi expressed his gratitude for the hospitality offered to him at the occasion of this introductory visit with the governor Hamza and also thanked him for the comprehensive and detailed information on the financial sector and stressed the importance of the need to further deepen the cooperation between relevant institutions of both countries Albania and Kosovo.
Both parties agreed to be thought on other concrete steps, which would mean to bring together financial institutions and businesses and deepen mutual cooperation between Kosovo and Albania.
