On the occasion of his visit to Kosovo, the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Arben Ahmetaj was welcomed in the meeting by the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo Mr. Bedri Hamza.
On this occasion, Governor Hamza exchanged information on economic and financial developments in Kosovo, and thanked Mr. Ahmetaj for the ongoing support of the Albanian state to the economic development of Kosovo through its presence in the banking and insurance sector. The Governor also informed Minister Ahmetaj for the excellent relations of the CBK with Albanian counterpart institutions, such as Bank of Albania as well as with other independent regulatory authorities of Albanian country. Other topics discussed had to do with the progress and performance of the institutions that operate in the banking and insurance industry in Kosovo, which are subject to regulation as well as supervisory and regulatory authority of the CBK.
