In the course of meetings following the international insurance conference held yesterday in Pristina, senior delegation of the Green Card Council of Bureaux, led by Mr. Maurius Wichtowski, President of the Council of Bureaux, visited the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, where they were hosted by Governor Bedri Hamza.
Highly appreciating the visit of this delegation, Governor Hamza briefly informed the delegation on the development of the insurance industry in the Republic of Kosovo as well as the achievements and challenges of this industry.
A very important issue that was discussed at the meeting was finding the modality for the Green Card System membership. Governor Hamza has expressed the willingness to closely cooperate with the insurance industry as well as with all relevant national and international actors and institutions in order to resolve this matter as soon as possible.
Highly appreciating the progress achieved in the field of insurance legislation, the delegation led by Mr. Wichtowski expressed their readiness for ongoing support of Kosovo during this process.
