Governor Gërguri hosted today Ms Jane Armitage, World Bank Director for South-East Europe and Mr Jan-Peter Olters, director of the World Bank Office for the Republic of Kosovo.
 Governor Gërguri initially thanked the World Bank representatives for the strong support to the development of the CBK until now regarding financial sector and other sectors and institutions in our country. In particular,  Governor Gërguri highlighted the importance of projects which through the affordable World Bank loan, are is expected to develop in the best interest of our country as a project on the payment system, deposit insurance, work continuity and  strengthening of financial sector market infrastructure.
 Besides emphasizing the competent partnership the CBK is demonstrating in all projects with the World Bank, Ms Armitage has highlighted the commitment of the World Bank to further support the CBK and Kosovo financial sector.
