{"id":5309,"date":"2022-10-31T09:22:42","date_gmt":"2022-10-31T09:22:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bqk-kos.org\/edu\/?post_type=activities&#038;p=5309"},"modified":"2025-03-21T14:34:59","modified_gmt":"2025-03-21T14:34:59","slug":"central-bank-of-the-republic-of-kosovo-announces-an-essay-competition-with-the-title-savings-prepare-you-for-the-future","status":"publish","type":"activities","link":"https:\/\/bqk-kos.org\/edu\/activities\/central-bank-of-the-republic-of-kosovo-announces-an-essay-competition-with-the-title-savings-prepare-you-for-the-future\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo announces an Essay competition with the title: \u201cSavings prepare you for the future\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"428\" height=\"583\" src=\"https:\/\/bqk-kos.org\/edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/anglisht.png\" alt=\"anglisht\" class=\"wp-image-5381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bqk-kos.org\/edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/anglisht.png 428w, https:\/\/bqk-kos.org\/edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/anglisht-220x300.png 220w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 428px) 100vw, 428px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK) announces a competition for students of grades X-XII of Kosovo\u2019s high schools to write papers (Essays) on their concept of savings: what are savings, how to create the habit of saving money, how to spend money in the right way, how to manage savings in the right way, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purpose of this competition is to develop knowledge and encourage students to develop an understanding of the importance of savings and proper management of personal finances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The selection committee will evaluate the essays and select 10 of the best ones, which will be awarded with a monetary amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The monetary award will be: first prize \u2013 200 \u20ac, second prize \u2013 150 \u20ac, while the prize of 3-10 \u2013 100 \u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rules of admission:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. The essay must be individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. The essay must be creative work and clearly convey the message of the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. The essay can be written in Albanian, Serbian or English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. The essay must contain a minimum of 700 words, the writing font should be Times New Roman 12, double spaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. The essay must be original work and not copied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6. Students interested in applying can apply by submitting their essays in electronic version (PDF), to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:info@env2.bqk-kos.org\">info@env2.bqk-kos.org<\/a>&nbsp;or to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:edukimi@env2.bqk-kos.org\">edukimi@env2.bqk-kos.org<\/a>. Essays can also be sent in writing to the address below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Department on Foreign Relations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Str.
