The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo marked the June 1st<\/sup>, International Children\u2019s Day, through an educational activity with the pupils of PLSS \u201cEmin Duarku\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The educational activity was carried out by the Department for Foreign Relations with pupils of the 1st<\/sup> and 2nd<\/sup> grades of the PLSS \u201cEmin Duraku\u201d in Prishtina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity was mainly carried out through conversations with pupils regarding basic economic and financial concepts, such as: the value of money, savings, budget, and personal budget, how a bank functions, what the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo does, and other concepts relevant to the age of pupils.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pupils were curious and asked many questions during the activity, as well as showed willingness to learn about these topics. The CBK, through activities, distribution of educational materials and numerous projects carried out within the Financial Education Program, contributes to the development of an educational-financial culture with the aim of conveying information to children on how to develop adequate habits and behaviors, to make right financial decisions in the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
