Students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Prishtina \u201cHasan Prishtina\u201d, attended the lecture on the role and importance of insurance in the country\u2019s economy. The lecture was delivered by the Director of the Insurance Supervision Department at the CBK, Ms. Ramize Ramadani, with bachelor level students, Banking and Finance program within the course \u2013 Accounting of insurance companies, held by Professor, Ms. Edona Perjuci.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the role and importance of insurance in the country\u2019s economy, students were also informed about the CBK\u2019s role and responsibilities, with a special focus on the insurance sector, adding here the process of supervision of this sector and other relevant data on insurance. Since the lecture was held within the course Accounting of insurance companies, the content of the lecture complemented and deepened the current knowledge of students on insurance.<\/p>\n\n

In this lecture, the attending students were interested in the functioning of the CBK in the field of financial supervision and asked various questions about this sector.<\/p>\n\n
