The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, in the framework of financial education and in order to mark the World Savings Day, invites students of grades VI to IX of primary schools in Kosovo to participate in the competition for the best Essay on savings.

The World Savings Day 2020 theme is: "When you save a bit, big things follow".

Competition criteria

• The essay must have a maximum of 1,500 words;
• The essay must address the importance of saving for the future, the personal story about savings and the wishes/goals you are trying to achieve;
• The essay must be original, creative and not copied or translated;
• The essay must be in Albanian language.

You can only send your papers via e-mail to the following email address: info@bqk-kos.org

The subject must read: “Essay competition”

Do not forget to indicate:

- Name and surname;      

- Name of school (grade/year/municipality/village/city);
- Name and surname of the parent/guardian as well as residential address;
- Contact number of parent/guardian/teacher/professor.

Deadline for submission of papers is 30 November 2020

The 10 best papers will be rewarded as follows:

Prize I - 200 Euro,

Prize II - 150 Euro,

Prize III - 100 Euro, while

Prizes IV-X with 50 Euro each.

The papers selected as winning papers will be transferred to the ownership of CBK and will be used as educational material.
