Governor on duty Mr. Gani Gërguri participated on the 5-th Conference of Risk Management and Financial Supervision (held any two year), organized by Financial Stability Institute of the Bank for International Settlements – (BIS), on November 3-4 2010, in Bazel, of Switzerland
During the two days of conference, international senior experts of financial industry presented the latest aspects relating challenges on risk management of financial industry, followed by the latest development on supervision and financial regulation and latest measurements in enforcement of financial stability. From all meetings about strengthening international collaboration on financial supervision, we can mention as very important the one that Mr. Gërguri had with German President of Federal Authority for Financial Supervision (BaFin), Mr. Jochen Sanio.
