At the invitation of the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti a meeting was held with Minister of Internal Affairs, Ekrem Mustafa, Director of the Investigation Department at the Kosovo Police, Riza Shillova, Member of the Board of the Banking Association, Orcun Ozdemir and the Executive Director of the Banking Association of Kosovo, Petrit Balija.

At this meeting were discussed concerns about the phenomenon of bank robberies in Kosovo.

All representatives of the participating institutions at this meeting expressed their readiness to undertake the necessary measures in order to increase the level of security in the banking sector and they agreed to increase inter-institutional cooperation in order to address these challenges.
