The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Sokol Havolli, received in a meeting the Executive Director of the Kosovo Association of Information and Communication Technology (STIKK), Mrs Vjollca Çavolli.

In this meeting, the areas of mutual cooperation between the two institutions in the field of promotion of the information and communications technology (ICT) sector were discussed.

CBK and STIKK agreed to jointly draft a cooperation agreement for the exchange and publication of information and statistical data related to the ICT sector.

The main purpose of this agreement is to collect statistics and information specific to this sector in order to analyze and promote this sector.

The initial orientation is to publish data related to the trade of ICT sector services but also the volume of funding from the local financial sector to the ICT sector.
