The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development organized the workshop with financial institutions about the revised corporate governance regulations and supervisory statements.
The Coordinator for General Functions, Labinot Preniqi, said that the CBK is engaged in the further advancement of the financial industry in Kosovo, based on the best international practices.

He thanked the EBRD for supporting the implementation of this workshop.

In this workshop, three sessions were organized: for banks, insurers, microfinance institutions and non-banking financial institutions, where the corporate governance regulation and the supervisory statement for banks were discussed, as well as the main changes from the previous corporate governance regulation, the rationale for these changes, the connection with the supervisory statement and best practices.
