Her Excellency Mrs. Tracey Ann Jacobson, United States Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo, visited the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, where she was hosted by Governor Gani Gërguri. On this occasion, the Governor Gërguri informed the Ambassador about the actual economic and financial developments in Kosovo, underlining the great contribution the United States has given and continue to give to the development of the economy and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. In particular, the Governor Gërguri thanked Ambassador Jacobson for strong USA support to the CBK from the very first day of its establishment, including the actual technical assistance by the U.S. Treasury Department in the field of insurance system, securities market and mortgage market. Her Excellency, Ambassador Jacobson stated that the United States will continue to strongly support the CBK in advancing its functions.
